The Role of Supervisor/Director in Child Care (5 Parts)
This workshop is designed to help Child Care directors and supervisors to develop more knowledge about mentoring, supporting and achieving a better relationship with their team members at the child care industry. During this workshop we will discuss about how to balance the daily routine with unexpected issues, how to connect and build relationship with educators individually, how to stay positive and avoid difficult situations and conflicts, how to recognize team members as a human being. We will discuss and analyze different types of decisions and suggestions for supervisors/directors in achieving program goals and understand that we all can make mistakes. During this workshop each participant will create an environment where educators can see each day as an opportunity of expanding their skills, knowledge and confidence, can feel comfortable in sharing their thoughts and ideas, support each other to keep the program excellence in high level. Through engaging exercises, the participants will have an opportunity to reflect on where they are in their journey, determine the gap between their current and ideal work environment and plan what they need to do differently in the future.
